As of 2025, I am working as a researcher for YouTuber Izzyzzz (1.05 million subscribers), who covers weird stories from around the web. Their videos typically delve into the world of internet culture, whether it's a viral failed event or ball, a nostalgic Flash game, or a bizarre TikTok conspiracy.

The Peppa Pig Pro-Birth Propaganda Conspiracy

Izzy allowed me to fully go rogue with this insane idea that I pitched to them after seeing it appear on my FYP. Was Peppa Pig's mother, Mummy Pig, pregnant as a political stunt to get birth rates up across the UK? Probably not, but some of it was much weirder than we anticipated...

A Million Lives: A BookTok Festival Disaster

I provided research for this video, diving into the A Million Lives festival disaster — the latest in a string of viral events that failed due to mismarketing and poor planning. Think Fyre Festival, DashCon, and 'Willy's Chocolate Experience' but for BookTok obsessives.

Since 2024, I have worked as a researcher & writer for YouTube detective Nexpo, who has an audience of 3.71M subscribers. Nexpo blends together the genres of true crime, analog horror & internet mysteries to create cinematic documentaries that are as immersive as they are investigative.

The Real Blair Witch

I helped to research this lost media mystery on a mysterious Channel 4 documentary called 'The Real Blair Witch', which charted the consequences of a prank gone wrong in 2000s Michigan. It's real, 2000s analog horror — and leaves a lot of difficult unanswered questions.

The Darkest Lost Media [Vol.3]

I worked as a researcher and writer on this entry in Nexpo's 'Darkest Lost Media' series. The series investigates media unavailable to the public due to its harmful or disturbing content, including lost footage of Mexia Supermarket and the Timothy Treadwell tapes. The Treadwell case in particular was a fave (for what it's worth, I think the YT audio is real. Nexpo disagrees.)

Japan's Strangest Unsolved Mystery

I researched this documentary on the SOS Incident in Japan, 1989 — a mysterious true crime case that had taken the Japanese internet by storm. Working on this video was fascinating (if challenging) because it required me to access and translate a bunch of sources from the original Japanese, including news footage, 2chan threads and newspapers.

This project inspired a video game for better or worse. It was super surreal to play — the demo is here.

Instagram's Darkest Rabbit Hole (Ft. Nick Crowley)

I helped to research and write parts of this documentary on Smartschoolboy9, which, alongside Nick Crowley's video, broke the internet in the latter half of 2024. We were among the first to discover & delve into these disturbing Instagram accounts & get them banned.
